2015년 아카데미영화상 후보작이자 트라이베카영화제에 초청된 다큐멘터리 의 공동 연출자이자 편집자이다. 또한 에미상 후보지명 및 다수의 영화제에서 수상한 <셰프를 꿈꾸는 아이들>의 공동 감독 및 편집을 맡았다. 이외에도 선댄스영화제 최우수심사위원상 후보와 인디펜던트스프릿어워드에 두 개 부문 후보로 오른 를 연출, 제작, 편집했다.

Mark Becker co-directed and edited the documentary Art and Craft (2014), which was shortlisted for the 2015 Academy Awards, premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and screened in theaters. He directed and edited the Emmy nominated film Pressure Cooker (2008) for Participant Media; the film won awards at several film festivals before opening theatrically. He produced, directed and edited the documentary Romantico (2005), which was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival, received two Independent Spirit Award nominations

듀크대학교에서 미술사를 전공한 후, 뉴욕현대미술관에서 전시와 필름펀딩을 담당하다 컬럼비아대학교에서 영화 석사를 취득했다. 직접 연출과 제작을 맡은 다큐멘터리 <셰프를 꿈꾸는 아이들>은 에미상 후보 지명을 받았고 2008 LA영화제에서 심사위원특별상, 2009년 필라델피아영화제에서 최우수다큐멘터리상을 수상했다. 최근 공동 연출한 장편 다큐멘터리 가 아카데미영화상 후보에 올랐다.

She earned her bachelor of fine arts degree in art history at Duke University. Prior to receiving her MFA from the film program at Columbia University, she was the manager of exhibition and film funding at MoMA. She directed and produced the Emmy-nominated feature documentary Pressure Cooker (2008) and garnered awards from festivals across the country including a Special Jury Commendation at the 2008 LA Film Festival and Best Documentary at the 2009 Philadelphia Film Festival. She most recently directed and produced the feature documentary Art and Craft, which was shortlisted for the 2015 Academy Awards.
