서울국제음식영화제

중국 내몽골 출신의 젊은 영화감독이다. 2014년 베이징영화아카데미에서 촬영예술 전공으로 학사 학위를 취득했다. 현재 독일 쾰른에 거주하면서 창작 활동을 지속하고 있다. 지난 몇 년간, 여러 상을 수상한 다양한 단편 영화들의 현장에서 촬영감독, 연출, 각본, 편집 등으로 일했다. 쾰른미디어예술아카데미에서 공부하는 동안, 그는 각본가 겸 감독으로서 다큐멘터리를 만들었다. 혼합된 문화적 경험을 갖고 자란 그는 “현대 유목민”으로서 서로 다른 문화를 엮어 낸 이야기를 주로 다룬다. 인류학과 다른 사회적 주제들에 대한 관심 또한 그의 작업을 끌어가는 원동력이다.

Ayunga Khiyad, a young filmmaker from Inner Mongolia, China. He attained his Bachelor’s degree in the art of Cinematography in 2014 at Beijing Film Academy. Khiyad is currently residing in Cologne where he pursues his creative career. Over the past years, Khiyad has taken part in various award-winning short film productions as cinematographer, director, script writer and editor. During his studies at KHM, Khiyad focused on documentary films as an author director. Growing up in a mixed culture, Khiyad has a vocation to become a “modern nomad”, whose narratives intertwine among different cultures. His interests in Anthropology and different social themes also fuel his artistic voice.
