서울국제음식영화제

생물학자이자 자연 다큐멘터리의 제작자 겸 감독이다. 우엘바대학의 과학 연구원인 그의 다큐멘터리는 세계적인 자연환경영화제들에서 상영되었다. 예술과 과학을 결합하는 영화를 지향하며, 영화의 예술적 표현과 과학적 정확성을 토대로 작업한다. 그의 첫 장편 영화인 <Wildmed, the Last Mediterranean Forest>는 러시아 상트페테르부르크에서 열린 ‘지식의 세계 국제영화제’에서 그랑프리를 수상했다. 2018년에는 두 번째 장편 영화<Barbacana, the Wolf’s Footprint> 을 발표했다.

Arturo Menor is a biologist, producer and director of nature documentaries. Scientific researcher at the University of Huelva, his documentaries has been screened at some of the most prestigious nature film festivals in the world. Arturo Menor tries to combine art and science in his productions: cinema, as artistic expression, and scientific rigor, as the basis of the content of his documentaries. Wildmed, the Last Mediterranean Forest, his first feature film, has been recognized with the Grand Prix at the World of Knowledge International Film Festival. In 2018 he released his second feature film: Barbacana, the Wolf’s Footprint.
