시놉시스Synopsis

교도소 단체방을 무대로, 수감자들이 사회에서 먹은 것 중 가장 기억에 남는 음식을 소개하는 이야기를 엮은 연극 형식의 따뜻한 작품. 그들의 추억의 음식에는 각자 삶의 애환과 우여곡절, 웃음과 눈물이 녹아있다. 설날을 한 달 남긴 나니와미나미 교도소 204호실에서는 수감자들이 설날 특식인 ‘오세치 요리’ 쟁탈전을 벌이고 있다. 이기는 사람은 동료들의 오세치 요리 중 원하는 것을 하나씩 먹을 수 있다. 크리스마스 이브의 밤, 추억의 음식 소개 배틀이 시작된다. 한 명씩 음식의 레시피를 찬찬히 설명하며 이야기를 할 때마다 모두 군침을 삼키고, 이제는 다른 세상의 이야기가 된 현실에 때로는 눈물을 삼킨다.

The four occupants of Cell 204, being careful not to be detected by their jailers, bet their osechi New Year’s dinners on who can concoct the most mouth-watering tale of ‘the best food I ever had’. The winner gets everyone elses’ New Year’s dinner as well as his own. Since dinner is the most eagerly anticipated part of the day in a prison, and New Year’s dinner is the most eagerly anticipated meal of the year, the stakes are high and the competition intense.
