서울국제음식영화제

한국 사람들은 어떻게 먹고 살아 왔으며, 그 변천사는 영화 안에 어떻게 담겨 있는가? ‘포럼 2019: 음식 키워드로 읽는 한국영화사’는 한국영화 속에 재현된 음식, 음식문화, 음식 공간 고찰을 통해 한국 사회 및 문화 변천사를 알아보고자 마련된 자리다. 한국영화 100주년을 기념, 1950~1990년대 한국영화 거장들의 작품을 통해 한국 사회와 음식문화를 돌아보는 ‘한국영화 100주년 특별전: 영화로 만나는 한국 사회와 음식문화’와 연계 프로그램으로 진행된다.

As the title indicates, ‘Forum 2019: Rethinking Korean Cinema Through Food’ is a program to look into how we ate and lived, and how that is represented in Korean films. The forum will be accompanied by ‘100 Years of Korean Cinema Retrospective: Korean Life & Food Culture in Classic Films’, this year’s special selection of Korean masterpieces from the 1950s to the 1990s, and will offer a great opportunity to explore and discuss about the changes of Korean society and culture through food.
