시놉시스Synopsis
페루는 프랑스나 중국에도 결코 뒤지지 않는, 세계적으로 유명한 요리 강국이다. 세비체는 페루를 대표하는 음식으로, 지역에 따라 각기 다른 재료를 사용한다. 북쪽 해안 지방에서부터 아마존 열대우림을 지나 수도인 리마까지, 영화는 페루 곳곳을 찾아가며 지역별 특색이 녹아 든 세비체의 다채로운 맛과 레시피를 전한다. 가스톤 아쿠리오를 필두로 셰프, 어부, 역사가 등 다양한 사람들을 통해 듣는 세비체의 발전사는 결국 잉카, 스페인, 일본, 중국 등 여러 문화가 융합된 페루의 식문화와 역사를 드러내기도 한다. 페루라는 나라가 다소 낯설더라도, 세비체라는 음식을 처음 들어보았더라도, 누구나 즐길 수 있는 맛있는 경험을 선사하는 다큐멘터리.

1990년대부터 몬트리올을 기반으로 능력 있는 프로듀서이자 사업가로 TV 분야에서 주목 받았다. 1996년 첫 회사인 ‘알 덴테’ 영화사를 설립했고 뒤이어 2003년 ‘투티 프루티’ 영화사, 2005년에는 FRV 미디어와 합병했다. 2007년 Pimiento 그룹을 설립하고 30편 가까운 다큐멘터리를 제작해 주요 채널에서 방영했다. 자신이 직접 연출한 작품으로는
Arriving in Montreal in the 90s, Orlando ARRIAGADA made his mark quickly in the television industry as a producer and businessman. In 1996, he founded his first company, Al Dente Films, followed in 2003 by Tutti Frutti Films, merged with FRV Media in 2005. In 2007, Pimiento Group was founded and has since produced nearly thirty unique documentaries and documentary series broadcast on Canal D, APTN, ICI Radio-Canada and Canal Vie. As director, he was behind the films Derrière le miracle, Miss inc., Au pif, Amérikologie, and more recently L'ADN du ceviche, selected at the 63rd San Sebastian International Film Festival.
