시놉시스Synopsis
링 슈전은 고향 주자자오에 오랫동안 가 보지 못했다. 그녀는 최근 바쁜 손자와 함께 상하이에서 살며 단조로운 생활을 해 왔다. 노동절 연휴가 다가오자 링 슈전과 손자는 오랫동안 보지 못한 고향에 가기로 결심한다. 그녀는 강에 영향을 받은 음식으로 이름난 주자자오에서 전통 중국식당을 운영하다 은퇴하고 아들에게 물려줬다. 노년의 링 슈전과 서른 살인 그녀의 손자, 멀리 떨어진 두 도시, 그 사이를 연결하고 이해하고자 하는 두 세대에 관한 이야기이다
It’s been a while since Ling Xiuzhen hasn’t visited Zhujiajiao. In the recent years she has been living in Shanghai with her busy grandson, holding a monotonous life. As the Labour Day Holiday is approaching, Ling Xiuzhen and her thirty-year old grandson decide to visit their long time no-seen hometown, Zhujiajiao, a place known for its riverfood. There is where she founded a traditional style Chinese restaurant time ago, which was transferred to her son after she retired. Ling Xiuzhen and her grandson. Two cities afar. Two generations yearning to build a bridge between them.

1992년 타라고나에서 태어났다. 바르셀로나자치대학에서 저널리즘을, 영화시청각예술학교(ESCAC)에서 촬영 연출을 공부했다. <An Instant>(2017)와 졸업 작품인 <Prelude>(2018) 등 학생 시절에 만든 단편 영화로 세계 여러 영화제에서 상을 받기도 했다. 극영화 이외에도 다큐멘터리, 뮤직비디오, 패션 영상, 광고 작업도 해 왔다. 베니스, 과달라하라, 시체스 등 여러 영화제의 심사위원으로 활동했으며, 잡지 <포토그라마스> 등 일부 출판물에 영화에 관한 글을 기고하기도 했다. 현재 베니스국제영화제와 함께 열리는 독립영화제 베니스 데이즈에서 프로그래밍 보조로 일하면서 첫 장편 영화를 준비하고 있다.
Adrià Guxens (Tarragona, 1992) graduates in journalism from the UAB and in cinematographic direction from ESCAC, both in Spain. Some of his student shorts, such as An Instant (2017) or Prelude (2018), have competed and won awards at international festivals. Prelude (2019) is his graduation project. Apart from directing fiction, he has also shot documentaries, music videos, fashion films and commercials. On the other hand, he has been a jury at several festivals (Venice, Guadalajara, Sitges) and has written about films in some publications, such as Fotogramas magazine. He currently works as a programming assistant at Venice Days while working on what will be his first feature film.
