시놉시스Synopsis
<떠나보낸다는 것>은 아버지와 함께 노래하고 요리하는 한 소녀의 모습을 통해 관객이 찬란한 어린 시절의 기억을 떠올리게 만든다. 아주 단순하지만, 두 사람의 친밀함이 느껴지는 순간. 그러나 부녀는 점점 퍼지는 반죽 덩어리에 휩쓸려 깊은 상실과 소멸의 세계로 이끌려 간다. 어찌할 바를 모른 채로, 아이는 만질 수 없는 것을 잡으려 애쓰고 있다.
Letting go lets us dive into sunny childhood memories, when a girl is singing and cooking with its father. An intimate moment, so simple. But they’re swept along by the wafting mass of dough into the emotional depths of loss and disappearance; Helpless, the child is trying to grasp what is not tangible.
감독Director
1986년 스위스의 우스터에서 태어났다. 2011년 스위스 루체른예술디자인대학에서 애니메이션 전공으로 디자인 학사 학위를 받았다. 2010년에는 교환 학생으로 갔던 브뤼셀 생뤽예술대학의 만화과 과정을 마쳤다. 2015년에는 퐁트브르 수도원에서 애니메이션 시나리오 창작 레지던스 지원을 받기도 했다. 현재는 취리히에서 독립영화 감독이자 일러스트레이터, 영사기사로 일하고 있다. 가장 최근에는 클라우디우스 젠티네타의 단편 영화 <셀피> 제작에 참여했다.
Born in 1986 in Uster, Switzerland. She graduated her Bachelor of Design in Animation in 2011 at Lucerne School of Art and Design (HSLU D&K). 2010 she completed an exchange at the Comic Department at ESA St. Luc, Brussels, BE. In 2015 she won the Résidence d‘écriture en cinéma d‘animation at Abbaye de Fontevraud, F. She works as an independent director, illustrator and film projectionist in Zurich, CH. Most recently she worked with Claudius Gentinetta on his award-winning short Selfies.
