작가이자 감독, 프로듀서. 중국에서 태어났으며 고등학교 졸업 후 영화에 대한 열정으로 LA로 왔다. 독립영화감독이자 프로듀서, 각본가이자 시인이기도 하다. 자신의 제작사인 베어랜드와 함께 많은 작품의 각본과 연출, 제작을 해왔다. [A Peace of the Afternoon],[In the Name of the Father],[A],[My Love is Your Color],[Sunflower],[푸른 돼지] 등은 그가 제작한 작품의 일부에 불과하며, 광고와 TV 프로그램 제작에 많은 경험을 가지고 있다. 메타-예술적인 스타일로 집필하는 그는 자신의 상상을 어떻게 현실화하는 지를 알고 있다. 연출가로서 다양한 장르에 도전하는 것을 즐기지만 또한 자신이 할 수 있는 것과 그렇지 못하는 분야의 한계도 충분히 인지하고 있다.

Writer, director and producer. Yaxiong was born in China, and after graduating high school came to Los Angeles to follow his passion for filmmaking. Today, “Bear” is an independent film director, a producer and scriptwriter, as well as a poet in China. With his production company Bear Land Inc., he has written, directed and produced numerous independent films. A Peace of the Afternoon, In the Name of the Father, A, My Love is Your Color, Sunflower, Blue Pig are just a few of the projects he has brought to life. Bear and his team also have a lot of experience in commercials and TV production. He writes with a meta-artistic style and knows how to make his visions happen. As a director, he would love to try different genre, but also knows the kind of story he can and cannot make great.
