시놉시스Synopsis

화려한 도쿄 신주쿠의 뒷골목에는 밤 12시부터 문을 여는 식당이 있다. 마스터가 혼자 모든 일을 해내는 이곳의 유일한 공식 메뉴는 돼지고기 된장국인 돈지루 정식이지만 손님이 해 달라는 음식은 웬만하면 다 만들어준다. 인기 일본 드라마 <심야식당>의 극장판 두 번째 이야기로 이번에는 불고기 정식과 볶음우동, 메밀국수, 그리고 돼지고기 된장국 정식을 매개로 심야식당을 찾는 손님들의 다양한 이야기가 펼쳐진다. 사람들의 허기뿐 아니라 마음을 달래주는 음식을 통해 삶을 돌아보게 하는 작품.

There is a restaurant that opens from midnight every night in the back alley of Shinjuku, Tokyo. There is only one dish, pork miso soup and rice, on the menu, but Master (Kaoru Kobayashi) cooks whatever the customer wants as long as he has the ingredients at hand. The eagerly awaited sequel of Midnight Diner delivers various stories of the customers featuring dishes like yakiniku, yaki-udon, soba and pork miso soup. A healing movie that soothes us and enables us to look back at what are really important in life.
