캠브리지 예술대학에서 일러스트와 애니메이션을 우등 학위로 졸업했다. 졸업작품이었던 <Courage to Make a Fool>은 로마, 부다페스트, 카디프의 영화제에서 상영됐고, 졸업 후에는 여러 애니메이션 뮤직 비디오를 연출했다. 손으로 직접 제작하여 만든 그녀의 스톱모션 작품은 독특한 질감의 미학을 보여준다. 그녀의 다음 계획은 스토리텔링과 인형 제작과 연출 능력을 키울 수 있는 곳으로 여행을 가는 것이다.

Heather Colbert is an illustrator and animator. After graduation, she created illustration commissions and more recently worked for Joseph Wallace as a model maker on his latest music video. The importance of a hand-made, textured aesthetic are demonstrated in her stop motion work. Her next plans are to travel to places where she can improve her knowledge of storytelling, puppet construction and direction.
